The journal Quasigroups and Related Systems ( ISSN 1561-2848 ) was founded in 1994 as a successor to the well-known
research series Matematicheskiye Issledovaniya (Mathematical Research), which was published by the Institute of Mathematics
of the Moldovian Academy of Sciences until 1992.
Quasigroups and Related Systems is indexed by Mathematical Reviews, Zentralblatt fur Mathematik and Referativnyi Zhournal Matematika (Russian Abstract Journal).
The journal publishes refereed research articles, notes and surveys related to the following topics:
quasigroups and loops,
latin squares, triple systems and orthomorphisms,
finite geometries and k-nets,
cryptographic protocols and algorithms based on nonassociative algebraic structures,
error-correcting codes based on nonassociative algebraic structures,
computational aspects and applications of the above topics.
Quasigroups and Related Systems publishes two issues per year, totaling about 300 pages.
The journal is based at the Institute of Mathematics of the Moldavian Academy of Sciences and is printed in Poland.
